La Rosenda Cantina
The little cantina was named La Rosenda, after his niece, and was one of many fronts for her brother’s numerous criminal enterprises. It was sometimes a dangerous place with a violent, lawless group frequenting the establishment. New comers and transient riders or mules were often not aware of it’s tie to MALO, the syndicate run by the ruthless Villalobos, resulting in situations like tonight.
Bacilio and Enrique had both made sure that La Rosenda had the right amount of thorns to keep her safe. Her own independent nature and personality amplified this, and made her as dangerous as any man in the room, more so, because of her ability to follow up her own actions with the menace and wrath of the MALO leader.
